Once again slow on the blog front.
1. What a crappy day of news in STL Tuesday. Chris Carpenter has more shoulder issues. Was it related to TLR and Company rushing him back? Maybe, maybe not but once again more allegations for the management\medical staff concerning the treatment of players.
2. #1 draft pick and future team star Erik Johnson has torn knee ligaments. Apparently some sort of golf cart mishap. Of course the rumors are swirling that it was much more than that and probably included booze and horse play.
3. Starting QB benched for Trent Green. This team sucks.
4. So, which Missouri team will suck worse this year? Rams are pretty bad on all fronts.

I don't understand how you give Bulger $65M in the off season and then bench him three games into the season.....seems desperate to me....or maybe it is no worse than starting Tyler Thigpen....possibly the worst starting QB in NFL history.
Is this the worst sports era in KC history? I cannot remember a time when both the Chiefs and Royals sucked this much at the same time. It would surprise me to see the Chiefs win more than two games this years. I guess the Matt Stafford sweepstakes begin!
Even though I have not been in LA much lately this is a good time for sports in the area. The Angels have the best record in baseball and will probably host the Red Sux in the first round, the Dodgers will likely win the division and play the Cubs in the first round and USC is far and away the best college football team in the country. Who needs an NFL team?
Not that it's much solace, but to be accurate, Bulger was given his new contract prior to last year.
