I must admit that I am disappointed that LOST took a science fiction turn on Thursday. It appears that Abrams and Lindenhoff have decided to take the show the way of Star Trek / Back to the Future. I was hoping that many of the island's mysteries would be answered with logic and be realistic and believable. I will stick with the show as there is a severe lack of suitable options but I hope that 'time travel' is not the answer to the LOST riddle.

I concur. Couldn't have been more disappointed with this week's episode!
Well, I'm sorry that you didn't realize that LOST was a science fiction show before this week. Did you think that Jacob was a digital projection, and that the smoke monster was just smoke?
It also isn't 'time travel', its the space-time-continuum, which was pioneered by a guy named George Minkowski 100 years. Sound familiar
Sed, I disagree. This was one of the better episodes.
- It answered why Desmond was not able to get off the island before; when he suggested it was a 'bloody snowglobe.' .
- It showed one of the Losties having contact with someone off the island
- It suggested that Penny's father might have something to do with the island's mysterious properties or that he might be one of the people trying to track down Ben.
I'm guessing that neither of you are fans of Kurt Vonnegut.
I am not surprised that you disagree Nate. I could tell you that the sun rises in the east and you would find some reason to disagree. At times I like to take a completely off the wall stance on a topic just to see if you will take the other side....and most of the time you do....Hmmmm
BTW... by some of your comments it is good to see that we both read the same LOST websites.
Or, the people whom I talk to about LOST, and you read the same websites.
I mean, was I supposed to site something. By the way, how was this episode like Star Trek?
I'm sorry. I liked this episode. Better?
