Thoughts on LOST...

A few things about last nights episode. Sorry if you havent caught it yet.

1. How did Sayiid know to take off Naomi's bracelet? It seemed like he went right for it. I wish I remembered what it said. I should have paused the show. Can anybody help me out here.

2. The cabin probably was gone because only certain people can see it. Also it can change its location as we saw in the season premier.

3. Did Kate really choose to stay. We know that she eventually does get off and so she changes her opinion later, but does it have to due with

4. I want to hear more about the theory that Adam and Eve from the first season is actually Jack and Kate. Anyone else heard this theory.

5. The title of the Episode was the The Economist, and then later we learn that the man whom Ilsa worked for was said to be an economist as a cover. I dont think that was a good choice for an episodes title. They should have titled it "Unlikely Pair," That way it keeps you guessing on who the unlikely pair is, and then it is revealed in the end.

6. I'm guessing that the next episode is a Kate episode.

7. I watched the enhanced version of last weeks show and am hooked. Kind of like a pop-up-video style of show that gives you little clues.

On a related note with the writers strike ending I heard that they probably will only be able to get 3 more episodes done in time to show this year. Will this mean a longer Season 5?

Naomi's bracelet read:

"N. I'll always be with you R.G."

Just copied this from one of the LOST sites, it lends credibility to the Adam and Eve theory:

"Did you see the numbers on Daniel's clocks? One said 3:16, while the other said 2:45. As it happens, Daniel 2:45 is the culmination of the story in which exiled Daniel earned an exalted place in King Nebuchadnezzar's court by interpreting a dream concerning the future of Babylon and how ''the fourth kingdom will be a divided kingdom.'' Hey — that sounds like the fourth season of Lost! Meanwhile, Daniel 3:16 is part of the famous story of how Daniel's friends Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown in the fiery furnace but were saved by God. How might that apply to Lost? Well, thematically, the story deals with three men who refused to abandon their spiritual beliefs and bow down before a false idol — a story that stands in stark contrast to Sayid's flash-forward arc."

Lost should always be DVR'd so you can go back afterward.

I was thinking the blonde Sayid was with was working for Ben. Threw me for a curve when Sayid was working for Ben. So who was that lady working for? Are we to assume Ben is one of the Oceanic 6? I don't think so, he will get off some other way. Maybe he gets off the island with Kate?

Who was the guy Sayid shot on the course. It was obvious the guy wasn't really there to offer him a ride to his ball. I was expecting another encounter similar to what Hurley has in the crazy house with the black guy.

I'm with Nate, only those who can hear will be able to see the cabin, and yes it can move.

Nate, by enhanced version, do you mean the re-run at 7PM. I havent been watching them.

I thought Nan told me there was only going to be 8 shows total this year. Do you mean 3 more equaling a total of 11 this year or only a total of 6 this year? You would have thought they would have all 8 in the can before the strike.

The ultimate question. Kate or Juilette? For me, Juilette in a New York MInute. She's very cute.

Yes, the enhanced version is the one that replays prior to the new episode. Check it out this week at 7.

They shot 8 episodes prior to the strike, but the Jay and Jack unofficial LOST podcast (better than the official) heard speculation that there was only going to be 3 additional episodes shot when the writers returned to work.

Juliette is kind of blahhh and, since her story seems pretty set, quite boring this year.
