SLU Billikens Set Record

Our beloved Billikens scored a total of 20 points (7 in the 1st half) last night vs. George Washington. That point total is the lowest since the onset of the college basketball shot clock in 1985. SLU made 14.6% of its shots to break the school mark for lowest shooting percentage in a game.
To borrow a philosophy from one of the my favorite sports' movies of all time, "Hoosiers", Rick Majerus is in the middle of "breaking this team down so he can build them back up". After last night, I'd say he's got the 1st part down.
Can't wait to see the progress first-hand on Saturday night as they take on the #22-ranked Dayton Flyers'.

I have to think that the game against Dayton has to be better then their game against GW! BTW you must have been in the process of posting this when I posted mine.
