Time for Change

Anyone else tired of hearing about the Iowa Caucuses? Is it me or is the relative importance of Iowa overstated by them having the first contest in the primary season? I heard one analyst say that an Iowa voter in this process is 20 times more important then votes later in the primary process I am guessing because they just happen to be the first ones? I reject the notion that all of a sudden I need to give credence to what someone in Iowa happens to think about Mike Huckabee who by the way I am tired of hearing about or that I now have to take him or view him as a serious contender just because he seems to touch a populist sentiment that resonates with Iowans. I guess I think it is far more important how a candidate performs on Super Tuesday (February 5th, 2008 when upwards of 20 states with over half the delegates hold their primaries) then what might happen in Iowa or New Hampshire.

Well, lets not understate the value of the Iowa caucus to the war chest of those candidates. I think that idiot Howard Dean showed how you could blow a big lead and lose Iowa by underestimating the importance of the Iowa Caucus (1. With the "I Have A Scream" speech and 2. By spending $10 in political ads in Crawford Texas instead of focusing on Iowa)
