Victory in Iowa?? Victory in Miami!!

Is this what the American voters want as their Presidential Candidates? Mao and Jerry Johnston? Now I see why 50% of America stays home.

The Jayhwaks did it. No one, but a bitter old Jack Harry actually thought that they could win a BCS game prior to this season. But hell, it was just December of 2006 when Kevin Keitzman was calling for Mangino's head to be rolled out of Lawrence after going 6-6, so Jack knew that he had to go against the company line and break the rank and file of Marconi and his band of cronies. But enough about them. How about those Jayhawks. Even the the awkward Fox telecast, a half time featuring 300 chubby chicks in shiny shirts, but more importantly guys who looked like they left their walkers at the edge of the stage. Their trademark shimmy-step backwards reminded me of Tina Turners 1990's farewell tour.
Congrats beakers. Lets all go the MU-KU game next year.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that broadcast last night was awkward. That's the problem you run into when you put all of these games on one network (FOX). They don't have enough quality annoucers to go around!

Aqib Talib had the best line of the night after the game. Talking about his high-step into the end zone, "I was feeling Deion Sanders!"

I Agree that the broadcast was awkward, but the game was entertaining. At least Fox didn't miss the chance to use KU alum Don Johnson in a lead in promo for the game (I liked the Miami Vice tie in). Looking forward to the KU/MU rematch at Arrowhead next season (got to think that could be to for the Big 12 North again).....I agree we should try and get a group together to go to that game!

On the other hand, Charles Davis, who covered the OU-WV game is a great up and comer in the world of analysis. He also wasn't afraid to mix it up with Brenneman.
